SUNROAD SOUNDINGS

      September 2006

San Diego Boating is at its very best after Labor Day. The weather is great, the tourists have gone home and the kids are in school. This is the time to get to Catalina and have it all to yourself!

SUNROAD RESORT MARINA PRESENTS: End of Summer BBQ

As a thank you to all our tenants, we are presenting a catered BBQ dinner/dance, drinks, raffle prizes, music, and more on Saturday September 16, 2006!  Each tenant may reserve two free admissions. You may also invite 2 quests per slip at $25.00 per person.  The event will take place from 6-10 p.m. Deadline for signup is September 8th & seating is limited, so sign up today. Cancellations after signup deadline or no-shows will result in a $50.00 charge to your Sunroad account.

You may be aware that Sunroad Marina has been designated as a CLEAN MARINA and we want to keep it that way!  Always use the "Best Practices" to protect our marine environment when working on your boat and remember to conserve water.

If you have not checked out the new Vista del Mar cafe & deli, please take the time to stop in and say hello to Francisco & Jennie.  They are anxious to serve your needs and your support will help make the deli a success.

We are still encountering some problems with posting your e-statement on line and are working on it.  Thank you for your patience!  Please call if you are having any difficulties.

Congratulations to Mr. Alan Williamson in slip B 20 who is the ninth winner of a free month's slip rent drawing in 2006.

Please let the office know if any of your contact information has changed i.e. phone numbers, address etc.  We also need everyone's e-mail address, so please give us a call or stop by.

Handicap parking spaces are limited and we have several tenants who are in chairs or have special needs.  We have others who while they have a placard and park in the handicap spaces, then walk to the end of the dock to their boat.  Please use your good judgment and courtesy and only use these spaces if you REALLY NEED THEM.

Anyone working on your boat must be registered with and sign in and out at the marina office.  Do not give marina keys to anyone.  This is for your protection and benefit.  If you have any special needs, please ask.  Normal working hours are 8 - 5 M - F.

Please let us know what we can do to make Summer 2006 the very best ever at Sunroad Marina & please help so others enjoy the marina as well.

Avalon Calling!
